A Government initiative for a £2 bus fare cap is to continue into 2024.
Amber Valley Borough Council is reminding residents across the area of the scheme.
A spokesman for the council said: “The £2 bus fare cap has been extended to December 31, 2024.
“A single bus journey anywhere costs no more than £2 any day on most routes across England.
“Single bus fares (including child and student fares) on most bus services in Derbyshire will be capped at £2 until the end of December 2024.”
They continued: “This is part of the Government’s Help for Households campaign to help passengers save money by capping the cost of bus fares in England.”
