From coffee mornings and enchanted fortresses to Dinosaur fun and giant bubbles, Matlock Farm Park has a line-up of exciting farmyard fun for the whole family this summer.

Located just a short drive from Alfreton, Matlock Farm Park will keep families entertained with a round-up of events and an ongoing programme of animal activities. Children can learn to ride horses, meet the meerkats, feed the goats, or go go-karting around a purpose-built track.

They can play at the Rainforest Barn – a jungle themed soft play area, or head to the new Enchanted Hamlet – a fortress inspired outdoor obstacle park. There’s also a tot’s area and a café that hosts Parent-Toddler Coffee Mornings every weekday during term-time.

The line-up events include:

Jurassic Fun Day
Kids will learn about Rita the T Rex and join the Jurassic themed bus for games and dig site fun. Free with park entry.
Sunday 26th June / Sunday 7 August 2022 from 10.30am – 4.30pm

Professor Paul Temple’s Punch & Judy Show!
A fabulous comedy take on a children’s classic, this modern Punch and Judy has lots of audience participation and fun for the whole family. Free with park entry.
Saturday 16th July 2022 from 12pm – 3.30pm

The Big Bubbleman
With monster bubbles as big as cars, and swirling clouds of mini bubbles being chased by delighted little ones is nothing but pure joy for the whole family. Free with park entry.
Saturday 24th July from 10.30am – 4.30pm

Parent Toddler Coffee Mornings
Every day throughout term time, parents (carers or grandparents) and up to two toddlers can enjoy special price entry to the park which includes a free hot drink. For £9.50 they can enjoy unlimited access to the park all day.
