Alfreton & District Heritage Trust has unveiled a programme of free community events.
The events will all take place at the Palmer Morewood Memorial Social Club, on Hall Street.
The trust has organised the events are receiving a grant of £9,960 from the National Lottery Community Fund to support its activities in the local community.

The trust has already hosted two events as part of this and have a full programme of events taking place fortnightly.
The schedule is as follows:
September 30 – Craft session: Willow Weaving or making a Corn Dolly
October 14 – Music from the 60s with Mike Coupe
October 28 – Women’s Land Army and Lumber Jills with Richard Godley
November 25 – Rag Wreath Making with Sarah Smith
All events are free to attend and will take place between 1pm and 3pm on the relevant dates.
