A lifeguard who works at Alfreton Leisure Centre will take part in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride this weekend.
It will be the third time that Gino Trunzo has completed the ride, which raises money and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
Founded in Sydney, Australia, the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is now a worldwide event that brings together classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders.
The ride in Derbyshire will take place on Sunday (May 21) and will see riders travel through the county’s countryside.
Gino, who lives in Shirland, is looking forward to taking part in the event again and supporting a cause close to his heart.
Asked what he loves most about it, the 32-year-old said: “It’s a mixture of everything. You get to see a lot of different and unusual motorcycles taking part.
“You get to share your passion with like-minded people, have a chinwag and have a laugh, all while being lucky enough to ride through rural Derbyshire and see amazing views whilst raising funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer.”
Gino is raising sponsorship for the ride via a dedicated fundraising page, which you can find here.
