A well known Alfreton man has been appointed life president of Alfreton Male Voice Choir following a 30-year stint as president.
George Curley, a retired Alfreton businessman and JP, attended the Choirs’ Annual General Meeting last Thursday.
The meeting unanimously to appoint George as Life President after which choir chairman Mick Mullarkey and newly appointed president Alan Randle presented George with a lifetime achievement certificate.
