Earlier this month Studio 44 opened its 2nd branch which is based in the hart of Alfreton town Centre.
Founder members from the dance school (Dynamics Dance Centre) which is based at the studio put on some mini dance displays for family and friends, and then Cllr John Walker, the Mayor of Alfreton Town Council officially opened Studio 44 by cutting the ribbon before inviting everybody into the studio for a look around and refreshment.
The children had lots of fun taking part in dance workshops, face painting and bouncing on our Boogie Bounce trampolines.
Daniel Harris, the owner of Studio 44 said “It was an extremely proud day for us, a huge thanks goes to all our members who have supported us from day one at our Duckmanton Studio. With out the support they have given us over the years expanding to another town wouldn’t have been possible.”
The Studio has completed a complete new refurbishment, has 3 studios that is now available for hire. It has a dance school that currently operates 5 days a weeks, is looking to partner with a Martial Arts, Kick boxing group to bring a mix of other activities. A new fitness time table will be launch in September and then half term holiday activities launch in October.
Daniel said “Thank you to the Alfreton community for the welcome we have received, we are proud to be opening a facility that is for you.
Getting the venue ready hasn’t been an easy process and I’d like to thank all the staff and new members for their patience. We’ve overcome many hurdles but we are starting to feel the buzz around the studio. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces makes it all worth it.”
