An Alfreton micropub will host a free taproom event over two days this week.
Tom Said Micropub will host the Monk Road Taproom Weekend on Friday (September 9) and Saturday (10).
The micropub recently moved into a new warehouse on Monk Road and now has its own purpose-built bar.
Posting on Facebook, Tom Said Micropub said: “Our monthly taproom event in Alfreton is back after a two month absence due to other events we have planned. This time we are in our lovely new warehouse with a purpose-built bar. Gone are the pallets.
“We have live music on a Friday evening and all day Saturday.
“Some great beers including this amazing beer for all you dark beer fans from North Riding Brewery Ltd. Our lovely horse gin and wine bar will be open serving our own gin as well as a full range from Dancing Anchor.
“Doors open at 2pm and Mark Morgan-Hill is kicking us off from 6.45pm with the music.
“And the most important thing is, it’s completely free!”
Doors will open at 2pm on both days. There will be live music on both days too.
