Alfreton Nursery School has shared some lovely pictures of its King’s Coronation celebration with us.

The nursery school, located on Grange Street, invited their children’s families to join them for the celebration on Wednesday (May 3), as well as friends from the Maple Mews retirement complex on Cressy Road.

Students from David Nieper Academy provided music and Kixx football academy led some games with the children.

Everyone at the celebration also enjoyed an afternoon tea.

Jane Blant, higher level teaching assistant at Alfreton Nursery School, said: “An abundance of happy intergenerational memories were created for our amazing community.”
