A teenage Olympic swimmer from Alfreton has been selected to compete at this summer’s Commonwealth Games.
Jacob Whittle has been selected by Team England to take part in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, which will open at the end of July.
Last summer, at the age of just 16, Jacob competed in the Tokyo Olympics, making it through to the semi-finals of the mens 100m freestyle competition.
