A Derbyshire care home has been celebrating the culture of Finland.
The special themed month at The Meadows Care Home in Alfreton has seen residents tasting Finnish bread and enjoying listening to Finnish music.
A spokesman at The Meadows, which is situated in Mansfield Road, said: “This month we are celebrating the culture of Finland.
“We have all enjoyed a delicious themed three course meal with our very own homemade Finnish Bread, whilst listening to Finnish music.
“Residents said that the food was lovely and they can’t wait for the next month.”
The Meadows Care Home has recently been awarded with the Derbyshire ‘End-of-Life Quality Award.’
