A sponsored ramble is taking place this Spring in aid of a football club’s supporters association.
The Reds Amber Valley Ramble 2024 is set to take place on Sunday, May 12.
A spokesman for Alfreton Football Club said: “Our hugely successful Ramble is to be run again in aid of the Alfreton Town FC Supporters Association.
“The association has organised a sponsored walk through Amber Valley on Sunday, May 12, to raise some much needed funds.
“Starting at 10am, the walk commences, and will finish, at the Victoria Inn, Nottingham Road, Alfreton.
“It is a local circular walk with six miles and 12 miles full distance options.”
They continued: “A voluntary donation is requested per participant.
“Each of the walks are classed as easy to moderate but please be sure of your own abilities in order to participate, appropriate footwear recommended. All walkers are ultimately responsible for their own safety. Everyone welcome.”
