Officers investigating reports of a number of sexual assaults in Derby city centre in October are appealing to trace two women who may be able to help with our enquiries.

The incidents took place on October 4, and a man was arrested shortly after the incident.

Enquiries have been ongoing, and although a few months have passed since the incident, we are concerned these women may have been approached by the men and would still remember.

It is thought both women would have been in the Victoria Street area, around 2.30pm.

One of the women is described as white, around 5ft 5in and with blonde hair. She was carrying a number of shopping bags at the time. The other woman is described as Asian, aged between around 18 and 20 years old, petite and around 5ft 3in tall. She had been wearing black top and trousers.

The 31-year-old, who is from Derby, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and is currently on police bail, pending further enquiries.
