Amber Valley Borough Council has announced the latest deadlines for applications to the council’s share of the Government’s 2024/25 UK Shared Prosperity Communities and Place funding.
A spokesman for the council said: “First call for 2024/25 UK Shared Prosperity Communities and Place projects.
“Are you a community or charitable organisation? Are you seeking funding to deliver community-based projects within Amber Valley?
“Amber Valley Borough Council is inviting eligible organisations to submit applications for funding of £5,000 to £10,000 of UK Shared Prosperity Funding (UKSPF).
“We want to fund projects that bring people together and help communities to thrive. We want to support health and wellbeing initiatives.
“We want to fund projects that promote impactful enrichment and volunteering opportunities. We want to fund local arts and creative activities.
“We want to support schemes that provide help and advice to reduce the cost of living.”
The spokesman added: “A call for first-time applicants opened on January 8 and runs until February 9. Depending on fund availability, a second call for first-time applicants will go out on March 4 until April 5.
“Fund availability permitting, a third call will be open from April 22 until June 7 which prioritises first-time applicants but also invites submissions from second-time applicants who successfully delivered a first project, adhering to the reporting and publicity requirements.”
