A Derbyshire community centre will be the venue for a brain health event this month.
The informative event at The Post Mill Centre in South Normanton, which is being hosted by Derbyshire Dementia Information & Advice Service, is taking place as part of Dementia Action Week.
It will run from 10am until 3pm on Tuesday, May 14.
A spokesman for the event said: “It’s never too early or too late to improve your brain health.
Derbyshire Dementia Information & Advice Service would like to invite you to our information and advice event.
“It will be a chance to: Meet local services from across Derby and Derbyshire who will be
hosting stalls; Network, mingle, engage in activities, presentations, Q&A sessions
and more; Learn how to reduce your risk of dementia or live well with dementia; and discover how to keep your brain as healthy as possible.”
The spokesman continued: “Entry is free for all. Those interested in keeping their brain healthy,
professionals, carers, and people living with dementia can attend.
“Refreshments and lunch will be available on the day. Organisations can book an information stall along with their ticket.”
