A fundraising stalwart from Alfreton is appealing for bushiness to support one of her latest community events.
Natasha Taylor, who lives in Alfreton, is on the look out for businesses to support a Summer Fun Day which is set to take place at Ironville Church Hall on Saturday, August 10.
The event, which will run from 11am to 6pm, will offer lots of fun for all the family including stalls, refreshments, entertainers, inflatables, circus workshop, face painting, magic show, music and much more.
Natasha, who works at Alfreton House Tearooms, carries out lots of fundraising events and activities for a variety of local charities including Alfreton-based Callum’s Voice and AYUP (Alfreton Youngsters Umbrella Provision).
She said of her appeal for sponsors for her latest event which is being hosted by MACS (More Activities for Community Social Events): “We are looking for local businesses who would be interested in supporting our community group by sponsoring our family fun day event Ironville’s Summer Fun Day 2024.
“Would you like your business logo and details on a A1 Correx Advertising board at our event? As well as an introductory post on our Facebook page which will be shared on social media?
“Sponsor our event for just £50 (Which includes the cost of advertising board).
“Best of all by sponsoring our event you are helping us raise funds to be able to provide more activities and community events.”
Natasha also said of a competition the event organising team is running: “It’s competition time. All you have to do is go to our Facebook page and: Like the post and our page; Tag 3 friends in our competition post; Share the post; plus click that you are interested or attending the event.
“One lucky winner will win the following family package: X4 Wristbands for Inflatables; X4 Meals From Revving Chef BBQ; £5 Voucher for the ice-cream van; and £5 Voucher for The bar (The Anvil Club).
“The winner will be announced at 9pm on Friday, August 9.”
