The cafe at Alfreton Indoor Market has become available to let.
Amber Valley Borough Council, which manages the market, is looking for somebody to take on the licence to run it.
A notice posted on the council’s website explains: “Operated under licence, this hot and cold food outlet operates four days per week in line with the operating hours of the Alfreton Market.
“This successful premise has operated for several years and offers a current customer base with the potential to build on an already established clientele.
“The successful applicant will bring a food offering to the Indoor Market to appeal to the town centre shoppers of Alfreton.
“The cafe is suitable for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea trade and has always been a popular coffee shop.
“Applicants are invited to present their ideas of style and menu and outline how their cafe can flourish and contribute to the development of the market, bringing new customers to the market and town.
“The unit offers the potential for themed events and the freedom to manage your business within the supported environment of the market.”
Licence application forms are available to download from Amber Valley Borough Council’s website.
Completed application forms should be returned to the council by midnight on October 29.
