Friday (March 8) was the 2024 International Women’s Day which saw women from all walks of life being celebrated.
In Alfreton, the Warriors Fitness Class team hosted a photo shoot to celebrate women of the area.
Dominique Parlatt, who runs Warriors, said: “We recently produced an exciting photoshoot where women from Alfreton and the surrounding areas came to take part in a shoot to celebrate International Women’s Day from women in the police, to house wives, education sector, and more.”

Dominique continued: “We have launched our new website that has access to resources on how to feel empowered and we will be running an anti-domestic violence campaign where people can visit our site to learn more about what to look for and how to keep yourself safe.”
She added: “You have the power to be who you want to be – it’s never too late.”
Warriors, which is based in Alfreton, offer a wide variety of energetic classes.
These include weekly roller discos, Bootxmaps, Step aerobics funky step, Dance fit, Drum fit, Pilates, and Abs blast.
