A charity based in Alfreton has been raising awareness all about stress as part of a national campaign.
Callum’s Voice, which is situated within Alfreton House, hosts regular crafts sessions for young people to enjoy.
Founded in memory of Callum who was tragically lost to suicide at just at 18 in April 2019, Callum’s Voice was originally a Community Interest Company (CIC) and then became a fully registered charity in February 2020.A spokesman for the charity said this week: “Chill & Chat was back today after a two week break over Easter.
“As April is Stress Awareness Week we talked about the stress bucket analogy: things that fill up our bucket and ways to let out some of the stress so our bucket doesn’t overflow.
“We also discussed whether some of us have smaller buckets to start with.”
The spokesman continued: “The Inside Out emotion toys enjoyed their time in the Peace Pod today and helped us to explore our feelings and ways to change our mood. After trying out lots of different ideas we eventually made Anger smile.”
