A Derbyshire choir will be performing its latest musical evening at a methodist church.
Alfreton Male Voice Choir will be performing for the Alfreton Wesley Church Anniversary on Saturday, February 3, between 2pm and 4pm.
The church is situated on Nottingham Road, on its junction with Ellsmere Avenue in Alfreton.
A spokesman for the choir said: “The choir will perform at the church anniversary celebrations with choral, show and connect songs, as well as monologues.
“Our Lion will be there and we’ll take you on a train journey to Chattenooga and also down a coal mine.”
Alfreton Male Voice Choir is a community male voice choir based in Alfreton but drawing members from a wider area.
The choir spokesman said: “We join together for fun and friendship, specifically to make music which entertains us each week, and our audience whenever we have the opportunity to perform in front of one; in the process we raise money for good causes and support various charities.”
