South Normanton Gala gets underway later this week – with lots of entertainment planned for the whole family to enjoy.

The huge summer celebration will take place at Carnfield Hall over two days – Friday (June 30) and Saturday (July 1).

The gala promises entertainment for the whole family, with live music, performances, stalls and much more.

The ‘Gala Fun Bus’ will provide travel to and from the event, picking up and dropping off people at locations in Alfreton and South Normanton.

The service, provided by Freeway, will be free but there will be a donation bucket on the bus with all proceeds going towards future events.

Organisers of the event ask that those attending do not take any glass bottles with them. Any glass items will be removed.

Dogs are allowed to join in the fun. However, they must be under control and on a lead at all times. Dog owners are asked to ensure that they clean up after them.
