Staff at CPR Manufacturing helped clean up an Alfreton industrial estate as part of the Great British Spring Clean.
The team spent last Tuesday (March 21) afternoon picking up litter on the Meadow Lane Industrial Estate.
In total, the team from CPR Manufacturing filled five bags with rubbish – including a significant amount of discarded beer cans.
The company, based on Dunsford Road, takes part in the national litter picking campaign every year along with its sister company Cromwell Polythene, which is based in Leeds.
Josh Wood, marketing manager who helped lead the litter pick, said: “It is always great to see the results after a clean-up, leaving the area in a much cleaner condition.
“The whole team thoroughly enjoyed taking time out to help support the GB Spring Clean, we are looking forward to our next litter pick at our Leeds site.”
The Great British Spring Clean, led by Keep Britain Tidy, runs until Sunday (April 2). You can find out more information about the campaign here.
