There is lots of colourful creativity blooming at a charity in Alfreton this Spring time.
Callum’s Voice, which supports youngsters with autism and mental health conditions, hosts its sessions within Alfreton House.
A spokesman for the charity said earlier this week: “Another lovely afternoon at today’s Time out Tuesday drop in session.
“It was lovely to welcome back our visitors from last week, we are so glad they both came back.
“Today we experimented some more with needle felting (whilst chatting away) to add our personalised embellishments to the pre-made crochet squares, we are sure you will agree they are all fab.
“One of our young persons had some time in our relaxation room ‘The Peace Pod’ and afterwards designed some robot artwork which she is going to submit into an art competition, we wish her the very best of luck.”

The spokesman continued: “It is lovely to see people grow in confidence each week, we are so privileged to be a part of that.
“We will be displaying the crochet squares in our well-being hub as bunting for now, (along with the bunting crochet squares we already have displayed) with a view to us making them into a blanket at a later date to showcase everyone’s work as individuals coming together as one for our theme ‘All together unique.’
“Time Out Tuesday’ runs from 12pm to 2pm and is aimed at older teenagers (16 plus) and young adults.
“We offer a safe, relaxed and inclusive space with the opportunity to take part in art, crafts, games and mindful activities with the aim of promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
“You are welcome to choose from the activities we have on offer or feel free to bring your own project to work on, we are a small friendly group, drinks and biscuits are provided.”
