Cricket club’s sponsored walk raises more than £200 for Alfreton Big Summer Event

A sponsored walk organised by Alfreton Cricket Club has raised more than £200 for the Alfreton Big Summer Event.
The fundraising walk took place on Easter Sunday (April 9).
The walk started and ended at Alfreton Cricket Club, with the route passing through Somercotes, Riddings and Swanwick.
All sponsorship money raised will go towards the Alfreton Big Summer Event.
Little is know about the event so far – other than it will take place on July 8 and 9, and that it is being organised by Sisu Derbyshire and Alfreton Town Council.
