An entertainment company in Derbyshire is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
Performance and event company Fancy Entertainment, which is based in Alfreton, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Set up by Alfreton resident Annabel Ward in 2014, the company has been creating exciting and memorable experiences for people all over the country for the last decade and isn’t planning on stopping anytime soon.
Annabel began Fancy Entertainment to create unforgettable memories and experiences for customers and guests, reminiscent of the magical experiences she remembers from childhood and attending attractions and live venues herself.
Fancy Entertainment has more than 350 talented professionals across the country who are skilled in various areas, including acting, dancing, stilt walking, fire breathing and much more.

Annabel said: “I am incredibly proud to say I have some of the most talented, professional and supportive performers who work alongside me to make our events truly magical and help pull off the seemingly impossible at times.
“Our industry is known to be cold and cut-throat, so it has always been a rule to champion and support our performers. This ultimately has shown in our events.”
Fancy Entertainment has hosted and taken part in thousands of events over the last ten years, from their original Alice in Wonderland shows (which they still perform) to their interactive comedy murder-mystery events.
Annabel said of the company’s success: “Looking back to when we started a decade ago, 22-year-old me would never have believed my little venture would still be going strong today. I can truly say that right now, we are living the dream.
“We have many performances in the diary already, we’ve opened a brand new office this year, and we will be celebrating in style this summer.
“I hope that Fancy continues to go from strength to strength and to be the number one trusted supplier in the entertainment industry for many years to come.”
