Derbyshire Community Transport wants to hear from people in the Alfreton area who would be interested in joining a lunch club.
The charity, based in Ripley, provides a range of services across Derbyshire to ensure everybody has access to transport.
It organises days out to places like Bakewell and Chatsworth, and also runs shopper services to other towns.
The Mansfield Shopper service, for example, picks up from the Alfreton area on the second Monday of every month and takes passengers to Mansfield town centre and to the Morrisons in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
For the lunch clubs, Derbyshire Community Transport will pick you up and take you out to lunch with other like-minded people for just £8 for a return trip – travel only.
If you would be interested in joining a lunch club, call Derbyshire Community Transport on 01773 746652 for more information.
You can also find out more about the charity by visiting its website here.
