The Autumn Footprints Festival will return from September 11th – 26, with informative talks and enjoyable walks for all abilities.
The festival boasts a choice of 29 guided walks in picturesque areas known for their natural beauty and superb scenery.
It is perfect for both novice and experienced walkers wanting to enjoy the beautiful colours of autumn and the area’s fabulous views, undulating countryside, industrial heritage and attractive towns and villages.
The walks will be led by knowledgeable local volunteers and staff keen to show off their patches, guests will discover a wide variety of walks to explore local heritage, natural history and wildlife. The routes take in walks alongside rivers and canals, as well as through open countryside, towns and villages.
All walks are free of charge. However, there may be a parking charge (see symbols on individual walks). You must book to join any of the led walks this year, details on how to book will be listed in each walk description.
