There was a “fantastic turn out” for a Derbyshire cricket club’s first winter net session of the year recently.
Alfreton Cricket Club began its ACC winter nets on Sunday, February 11, at Tibshelf School.
A spokesman for the club said on Sunday (February 11): “Fantastic turn out for our first ACC winter net session.
“Same time next Sunday, February 18, 1pm – 3pm at Tibshelf School.
“Sessions as follows: Juniors (Softball U9-U11) and Women’s Softball 1pm-2pm; Juniors (Hardball U12+) and Seniors 2pm-3pm.
The spokesman added: “Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start if possible to help organise the session/equipment etc.
“All members new or old are invited and the ACC clubhouse will be open afterwards for refreshments.”
