Children who receive free school meals are invited to take part in free creative workshops in Riddings this summer.
The Youth Release programme, organised by the Freedom Foundation UK, is for children aged seven and over.
The programme taking place in Riddings is for children aged seven to 11.
The booking website explains: “Release is a creative programme where children will learn how to write music and create a short programme over the course of a week.
“During the week they will be encouraged to express their emotions and creativity, develop skills in dance, singing and songwriting, be educated about the impact of social media and be involved in discussions around positive healthy usage.
“As part of the programme children will also receive a free lunch.”
Two weeks of activities will take part in Riddings, at the Derbyshire Academy of Performing Arts.
The first week – commencing on Monday, July 31 – has limited availability. However, there is currently a good availability of places for the second week, which starts on Monday, August 21.
You can find out more – and book a place – here.
