A Plant Sale & Craft Fair is taking place at Newton Community Centre this weekend to help raise funds for this year’s Carnival extravaganza in the village.
The Newton Carnival Team hosted event on Saturday (May 11) will run from 10am until 2pm and will be free admission.
A spokesman for the volunteer team said: “It’s not long now until our plant and craft fayre on Saturday, May 11, at Newton Community Centre.
“This year’s event is looking to be another good one, we are just about at stall capacity.
“We are putting the finishing plans in place and we can’t wait to welcome you all for a wonderful day.”
