“Gladiators ready? Contenders ready?” – a Gladiator style charity event is being hosted in Alfreton this Spring.
The fundraising Amber Valley Gladiators show, which is taking place at the Genesis Centre on April 27, is being organised by Dan Payandeh from Fit3:16 Alfreton.
He said: “Dan PT here just want to get you buzzing about our great community event to bring people together on a fun evening in April.
“We have an amazing event to raise money for three good causes: Retina UK, AERA community (Alfreton); and Crohns and Colitis UK.
“The event is our version of ‘Gladiators’ where three gyms in Amber Valley – Fit3:16 Alfreton, UHF Ripley, and Benefit Martial Arts Ripley – will be taking on contestants in an inter-gym event.
Dan continued: “This will be filmed by a professional videographer (made by James) in the 90s style and will be available to purchase too.
“We will be hopefully, with the aid of ticket sales and sponsorships, having events such as Duel PowerBall and Atlasphere.
“It will be based at genesis Entertainment Centre in the main sports arena on April 27 at 5pm until 7pm.”
Dan added: “People can get involved by simple buying tickets and come to the event for all the family. Under 5s will have free admission.
“Or if you are a local business we have sponsorship options which range from sponsor a gladiator (logo on the gladiator or contestant) or have their name in the program or sponsor an event as well as billboard options too. You can sponsor the trophy for the winner too.”
To purchase tickets, sponsor the event and to find out more, go to here or call Dan on 07821 540349.
