Giant ‘cotton buds’ have been made especially for a Gladiators style event in Derbyshire.
The fundraising Amber Valley Gladiators show, which is taking place at the Genesis Centre on April 27, is being organised by Dan Payandeh from Fit3:16 Alfreton.
Dan said: “We have an amazing event to raise money for three good causes: Retina UK, AERA community (Alfreton); and Crohns and Colitis UK.
“The event is our version of ‘Gladiators’ where three gyms in Amber Valley – Fit3:16 Alfreton, UHF Ripley, and Benefit Martial Arts Ripley – will be taking on contestants in an inter-gym event.
“This will be filmed by a professional videographer (made by James) in the 90s style and will be available to purchase too.
“The event will be based at Genesis Entertainment Centre in the main sports arena on April 27 at 5pm until 7pm.”
Dan recently shared this photograph of the new Giant Cotton Buds for the event, and said: “Are you ready for Duel? Our Giant Cotton Buds have arrived.
