Amnesty bins will be located in Alfreton and South Normanton this week as part of a national campaign to tackle knife crime.
Operation Sceptre is a week long campaign that allows people to hand in unwanted knives at various drop-off points.
According to Alfreton Police Safer Neighbourhood Team, knife amnesty bins will be in the following locations:
Tuesday, November 15
The Hub, Shiners Way, South Normanton, between 8am and 12pm.
Wednesday, November 16
Home Bargains, Institute Lane, Alfreton, between 10am and 11am
Crich Glebe Field Community Centre, Crich, between 1pm and 2pm
