A new feature on our website makes it easier than ever for you to share the details of your event on the Spirit of Alfreton.

When you visit our What’s On page you will see a new button above the calendar, ‘Submit Event‘.

Clicking or tapping on this will take you through to a page where you can add the details of your event. Once you’re done, click or tap ‘Submit Event’ and your event details will come through to us for posting.

If your event is happening in our local area – including South Normanton, Tibshelf and Riddings – then you are welcome to add the details to our calendar and share with our community.

Your event might be a one-off or it could be a regular meeting, such as a photography group or exercise class, or it could even be a sports fixture.

Schools and nurseries are welcome to add term start and end dates, as well as open day details or any other event they are hosting.

Pubs and local venues can share gig details, comedy nights, quiz nights and the like.

Our What’s On page is designed to help highlight what’s happening locally and to help our community find events of interest.

All you need is your login details and then you’ll be able to add your event.
