Calling all carers in the area!
Derbyshire Carers Association is hosting an informative event in South Normanton next month.
The ‘Carers Rights Day and Carers Express Event’ will be taking place on Thursday, November 23.
Running from 10am until 1pm, it will be held at Post Mill Centre, Market Street in South Normanton.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Carers Association (DCA) said: “We would like to welcome you all to our Carers Right Day event.
“Coffee and cakes will be provided, plus there will be free goody bags, raffle tickets and the opportunity to create your own wellbeing kit.
“The event will help raise the awareness of carers’ rights and entitlements as well as providing vital support to those who need it.”
The spokesman continued: “Our Carers Express session will offer you the opportunity to connect with organisations which provide advice and support across Derbyshire.
“Professionals will have the opportunity to take part in service information sessions.
“There will also be the chance for carers to speak to a legal and financial specialist on the day, you will need to book a slot for this with Katie.
“Transport will be provided (where possible) via a pre-planned minibus route.”
