Derbyshire County Council has provided their latest snow update including road closures across the area.
A spokesman for the council said at 1pm today (Thursday, February 8): “We’ve updated our snow updates page.
With snow now falling across many parts of Derbyshire, we have the following roads closed: A57 Snake Pass; A54 / A537 Cat & Fiddle Road; A53 Leek Road; A5004 Long Hill; A6024 Holme Moss; and A515 Between Brierlow Bar and Buxton.
“We have closed adult community education centres in: Buxton, Fairfield; Clay Cross; Derbyshire Eco Centre; Matlock; and Shirebrook.”
