Residents at a care home in Derbyshire have been getting green-fingered this Springtime.
The Meadows Care Home in Alfreton has recently launched its in-house Sunflower Growing Competition.
A spokesman for the care home said: “This weeks gardening club was potting our sunflower seeds for our sunflower competition.
“We can’t wait to plant them in our wonderful garden when they are ready.
“Whomever grows the tallest shall be the winner.”
