A man is in hospital after suffering serious injuries in an assault in Riddings over the weekend.
A woman also suffered minor injuries in the incident, which happened in the Riddings Park area at around 2am on Saturday (July 9).
Police believe the victims were approached by two men before the assault took place.
Appealing for information about the incident, Derbyshire Constabulary said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we would like to speak to any witnesses, anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious or with information about the incident.”
