If you’re looking to go for an afternoon tea in Alfreton then there’s always one place that comes to mind – Alfreton House Tearooms.

Located at Alfreton House, off of the High Street, the tearooms also offers breakfasts, a selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and homemade meals such as lasagne.

This weekend though, it’s all about the Coronation of King Charles lll and Alfreton House Tearooms is offering a special afternoon tea to mark the occasion.

I took a trip to Alfreton House Tearooms and met the owner, Hannah Jowett-Frost, to get a flavour for the treats and delights available this weekend.
