South Normanton Dramatic Society (SNDS) will be presenting Sour Grapes, a Vineyard Murder Mystery, on Friday, April 26, at 7.30pm at the Post Mill Centre in South Normanton.
SNDS is a South Normanton and Alfreton Drama Group for “people to join and bring arts to the community.”
A spokesman for the society said of their latest production: “After hosting a party, a local vineyard owner has been found dead in his home. We’ve brought all the suspects together, now it’s up to you to decide who is the murderer!
“Enjoy an evening of entertainment, get a chance to question the suspects, and maybe even win a prize.”
The spokesman continued: “Do all of this while enjoying locally sourced hot cob buffet with a choice of beef, pork, gammon or a vegetarian option. All served with potatoes, stuffing and various salads. Wash this down with two bottles of wine per table.”
The team at SNDS are posting information of some of the murder mystery suspects on social media – to give their audience members an insight into the mystery ahead of the evening of entertainment.

The SNDS spokesman said: “Our first suspect! Meet the winemaster. His proven process for making the perfect cabernet was under scrutiny by the penny-pinching victim.”

They continued: “Our next suspect. Meet the victim’s only child. She returned home last year to help her father run the winery. Everyone knew that her and her father didn’t see vine to vine.”
