Work is being carried out to create a model railway of a historic site in Derbyshire.
The miniature model of the recently restored Wingfield railway station and its lines is being created by the team at Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust.
A spokesman for the trust said recently: “Wingfield Station is making excellent progress with their model railway. This is a working scale model of the station and goods yard set in 1947.
“It was great to see the work in progress today. This follows the nerve-wracking transportation of the various parts from John’s home to the station earlier in the week.”
They continued: “Don’t forget our guided tours are running each month. Please book a free space via the DHBT website/Eventbrite.”
