Air cadets in Derbyshire have been gaining further swimming success.
Members of the Alfreton & Ripley Air Cadets recently competed in a regional swimming competition.

A spokesman for the squadron said: “Huge congratulations to our cadets from 1401 who dove headfirst into the Central and East Region Swimming Championships.
“FS White and Cpl Moorcroft took on the top swimmers in the region and proved their mettle, bringing home a collection of well-deserved medals and securing Trent Wing’s impressive second position overall.
“FS White demonstrated sheer determination and skill in the water, earning several spots on the podium with a third place finish in both the 100m freestyle and breaststroke events, as well as second and third place finish in the relays.”
The spokesman continued: “Meanwhile, Cpl Moorcroft showcased remarkable talent and resilience to earn two wins in the 50 metres relays along with a second place in the 50 metres freestyle to help secure an overall first place in the Junior Boys Classification.
“A fantastic achievement, well done FS White and Cpl Moorcroft.”
