A new promotional video takes viewers behind the scenes with Alfreton Male Voice Choir.
The choir turned Nether Heage Methodist Church into a recording studio for the day and spent the day performing in front of the cameras – and even sang to a drone.
The aim of the video is to give viewers an insight into the choir and to encourage others to join them.
Mick Mullarkey, choir chairman, said: “It was a great time making the video and really shows the spirit of the choir, yes, the singing but also the fun, the laughter, banter with desire to entertain.
“We would love more local guys to join us, you don’t need musical experience, we give you that. What you need is a sense of humour and a wish to entertain others by singing in a group.”
The choir has a number of performances lined up, including those at Derby Cathedral, Belper’s St Peters Church and its annual concert at the Post Mill Centre on July 3.
Alfreton Male Voice Choir meets weekly on Thursday evenings at the Palmer Morewood Social Club, on Hall Street, at 6.30pm.
