A NHS careers event will take place at King’s Mill Hospital this week.

Step into the NHS will take place at the Sutton-in-Ashfield hospital on Tuesday (June 20) between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

The event, organised by Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with West Nottinghamshire College and Nottingham Trent University, will promote current vacancies as well as the career paths available to those considering further study.

Rob Simcox, director of people at the hospital trust, said: “Sherwood Forest Hospitals is a fantastic trust to enjoy a long and rewarding career – and with over 350 careers across the NHS, we have a lot to offer.

“Each role is so different, everything we do is for our patients, their families, carers, and the public. We all contribute in different ways to provide great patient care and together we make a difference to help others.”
