A Derbyshire community centre has a host of gigs coming up for residents and visitors to enjoy.
The team at Riddings Park Community Centre in Alfreton has enlisted a variety of music acts to attend the centre to provide entertainment throughout the year.
The West Street venue, which was opened by the late Lady Diana, Princess of Wales in 1992, is set for a major renovation project soon.
On announcing their latest programme of music events, chair of the centre Sue said: “As Chair of our fabulous community centre I would like to say a massive thank you to all of our trustees, staff and volunteers.
“But most of all I would like to thank the community for turning up and helping us to keep going.
“Here is a list of the free entertainment we have coming up for your diaries. Hope to see you soon.”
Here’s what’s coming up:
Friday, March 29: Rock and Blues cover band Know Idea.
Sunday, April 7: Ska, 2-Tone and Northern Soul band The Modskas.
