A new public notice warns of road closures for Alfreton’s annual Remembrance Parade in November.

A number of roads will be closed in the town centre on November 12, while the Remembrance Parade takes place.

The road closures will be in place between 10am and 1pm.

The road closures, as listed on the public notice, are as follows:

Rodgers Lane – from the car park to its junction with the High Street.

High Street – from the junction with Cressy Road to its junction with King Street/Chesterfield Road.

King Street – from its junction with High Street/Chesterfield Road to its junction with Hall Street.

Church Street – from its junction with Chesterfield Road/King Street for a distance of 188 meters or thereabouts.

Chesterfield Road – from its junction with High Street/Church Street for a distance of 260 meters or thereabouts.
