A date for the launch of Alfreton’s new LGBT+ Youth Club has been announced.
Last week, we shared the news that the youth club would be launching in July but the start date was yet to be confirmed.
The LGBT+ Collective has now announced that the first youth club will take place on Thursday, July 20 at Alfreton House Tearooms, on the High Street in Alfreton.
The LGBT+ Youth Club will take place fortnightly on Thursdays between 5.30pm and 7pm.
The youth club sessions will be free to attend and will offer a safe space for young people who identify as LGBT+.
The sessions will offer games, crafts and the opportunity to meet new people.
The LGBT+ Collective are a volunteer-led non-profit organisation set up to support the LGBT+ community in Derbyshire. It runs youth clubs and events across the county.
