Oscari is set to open a warm hub in Riddings next week.
The warm hub will be open weekly at the Church of Christ, in Colledge Street, on Tuesdays between 10am and 1pm.
Anyone who needs access to a warm space is welcome to visit Oscari. It will be free to do so and you’ll be able to have tea and coffee while you’re there.
Oscari will also be giving away free bread.
The warm hub will run alongside Oscari’s community pantry, which also opens on Tuesdays between 10am and 1pm.
It costs £15 to join the community pantry – including your first weekly shop – and £7.50 a week thereafter.
On Tuesdays, Oscari will also be joined by representatives from Citizens Advice, who will be able to provide information on a range of topics including benefits and housing.
The warm hub will open for the first time on Tuesday (December 6).
You can find out more information by visiting the Oscari Facebook page here.
