Staff and residents at a Derbyshire care home have been enjoying celebrating the Chinese New Year.
The Meadows Care Home, which is situated in Alfreton, have been focusing on dragons as part of the annual celebration.
A spokesman for the home in Mansfield Road said on Sunday (February 11): “Happy Chinese New year! Yesterday marked the start of the Lunar New Year – the year of the Dragon.
“We all came together to celebrate this day by decorating the home and enjoying a delicious three course meal cooked by our talented kitchen team.”
The care home has recently been awarded with the Derbyshire ‘End-of-Life Quality Award.’
