PICTURE GALLERY – World Book Day 2024

Thursday (March 7) was the 2024 World Book Day which saw lots of organisations and individuals celebrating all things literature.
Many youngsters across the nation, including in Alfreton, went off to school dressed as their favourite book character or dressed as a word, or many other literature focused themes.
Here we have some fabulous photos of youngsters from our area who dressed up for this year’s World Book Day. Thank you to everyone who sent pictures in.

The next national ‘dressing up’ day is Red Nose Day on Friday, March 15.
