Plan for new bowling pavilion at Somercotes Park gets go-ahead

A bid to build a new bowling pavilion at Somercotes Park has been approved.
Phoenix Bowls Club submitted a planning application to Amber Valley Borough Council last year, asking for permission to build a new pavilion next to the existing bowling green.
The application was given the go-ahead by the council’s planning committee on Monday (April 24).
